Woodsman .22 LR caliber semiautomatic pistol., an exciting project, years in the making, USFA chose the classic “1st generation” model Woodsman to reintroduce.  Initially made by Colt’s F.A. Mfg. Co. in that configuration in 1915, THE WOODSMAN is every sportsmen and outdoorsman’s dream, a trail & backpacking pistol and remains in strong demand among shooters and collectors alike today. 

The New USFA WOODSMAN is hand crafted just like you’d expect from USFA, known for high quality and is made with our reverence for historical accuracy.  The Woodsman will be made in 2 standard barrel lengths (4" and 6"), and in our beautiful High Polish Blue with checkered walnut grips.  Options such as nickel plating, engraving, custom grip materials, and matching Maxim “silencer” (sound suppressor) package will be available at extra cost.

Just as with the original Colt Woodsman pistols, the USFA Woodsman pistol is 100% made in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.
