“Flawless”
–
Gun Week |
 |
“The Rodeo is among the
best values in this field. The fit and finish of
the Rodeo deserves but one description – flawless.
The grip-to-frame fitting is excellent and the
hard rubber grips are married to the frame perfectly.” – Gun
Week vol 39, 2004. Read

“More Reliable and Accurate than the Original” – Guns of the Old West
|
 |
“…USFA has been
able to produce a clone of the original Colt SAA
that's closer in tolerance, therefore more reliable
and accurate than the original. These two SAs shoot
very well, better than just about every stock Colt
I've every shot in the same caliber.” – Guns
of the Old West. Read

“Looked Great, Shot Great, Felt Great”
– Gun Tests
|
 |
In a four-way test, the USFA Rodeo was Gun Tests' pick — ahead of AWA's Peacekeeper, Uberti's Regulator and Colt's SA. “The Rodeo was one of the most rewarding of all single actions we've seen. It looked great, shot great, felt great …the Rodeo was the closest to the contours and polishing of the original 1904 Colt. Not even Colt's did that job on its new gun as well as USFA” – Gun Tests, July 2003. Read the Entire Review (pdf). |

“200%
Better Than Some Other Colt Clones” –
Guns
of the Old West |
 |
“Overall, the Rodeo has
lines that are about 200% better than some other
Colt clones I've examined that are advertised as
1st Generation quality. In fact, the only guns
that I've seen that are any better in this category
than the Rodeo are real 1st Generation Colts and
U.S.F.A. high end revolvers. Am I impressed with
the Rodeo? You bet” – Guns of the Old
West, Fall 2001.

“One
of the Best Built Sixguns Available” – Gunblast |
 |
“One of the lower priced
SAA replicas on the market is also one of the best
built sixguns available; the USFA Rodeo. The fitting
of the grip frame to the cylinder frame is excellent,
and the fitting of the hard rubber grip panels is
flawless. The hammer is beautifully case hardened,
and the bolt timing on the Rodeo is perfect. For
a modern, American made, and very affordable replica
of the old Colt SAA .45, I highly recommend the USFA
Rodeo. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality
of fit and finish, and think that you will be also.
For the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting, or as an
everyday working gun, it is just the ticket.” – Gunblast. Read

“USFA Rodeo is an excellent bargain” – Shooting Times
|
 |
“I've been shooting single-action
revolvers for 35 years now, and I can say that if
I am blindfolded and have an original Colt SAA in
one hand and a this USFA Rodeo in the other, I cannot
discern which hand holds which revolver. …the
USFA Rodeo is an excellent bargain” — Shooting
Times, November 2003.
